ABOUT

My name is Alexis Krogh, owner of Pacific Sage Healing Arts. I am a licensed massage therapist and registered nurse. My initial experience with therapeutic massage came from my own musculoskeletal issues 10 years ago. After that experience I asked myself, with the variety of interventions I tried which one gave me the biggest relief? For me, that was massage.

I am a pharmacist’s daughter and grew up being treated with the “better life through chemistry approach” to illness. The bodywork I received years ago was an unexpected turn towards this type of therapy.  It was several years after my initial massage experience before I went back into school mode to get my license. It has been a fascinating journey that has open my eyes to a myriad of options and treatment styles to explore. Currently in my massage practice I offer: Swedish relaxation, deep tissue work as well as incorporating some orthopedic massage techniques learned in my advanced training.

I am a passionate proponent of massage and my hope is for everyone to receive positive, relaxing, and safe therapeutic touch. I hope it will be a catalyst for continued self-care for anyone in whatever format or style appeals to them.
